This is a free Buy & Sell site for residents of this area. We ask you to post specific items with a price where possible/applicable. While we do allow businesses to post items for sale, we ask that they use discretion and moderation (post some personal items in addition to just business ads). We do not allow posts for the sole purpose of business/product/website promotion, however, you can get a basic listing in our free directory. Or Contact Us to become a sponsor.
TownPost is intended for residence and businesses in our service area. TownPost reserves the right to block users or content that we feel does not serve the community in the way we intend. Likewise we request that all content adhere to the rules in this disclaimer which may change regularly. It is the responsible of the visitors and registered users of this site to check this disclaimer frequently for changes that they must adhere to and understand. Foul language, obscene content, non family friendly events or other posts will be removed and may result in a ban for the offending user's account if we feel it was malicious.
TownPost reserves the right to edit ads to correct spelling or other errors, though we try and limit the number of edits we make. We will also modify ads if the fields have been filled in incorrectly (for example descriptions in price fields), in some cases we will notify the user if the change is significant but not always.
TownPost reserves the right to delete content that does not serve our business interest or where we feel there is a conflict of interest. In some cases we will allow content from an individual or organization that could be a competitor, but in some situations we will not allow. TownPost will make an effort to notify individuals or organizations that post content in direct conflict with this.
TownPost generally does not allow commercial ads in our classifieds without permission. If you are looking to post in the classifieds section as a business or with a commercial product please contact us first. Business and commercial listings should be posted in the designated "shop local" section.
When posting content, you are granting TownPost a non-exclusive, continual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights to that content. (We use these rights to display the content publicly.)
TownPost does not permit URLs (links to other websites) to be posted in ads, events, job postings, or other posts without prior permission. Nor do we allow text similar to a web address, we will remove this from posts without any notification to the user and possibly delete the post depending on the situation it may result in the user deletion. We prefer that images do not have web addresses on them, images with urls may be removed with or without notification to the user.
TownPost and it's owners are not responsible for content, names, comments, or personal information posted on this website. By using this site you are agreeing to make the information published available to the public for an indefinite amount of time. Be sure that all content published on this site adheres to Canadian law, and report any violations to this policy or to Canadian law to us so we can have the information removed immediately.

TownPost does not permit copyright material such as images, text, or any other content covered under copyright law. Posting of such material will result in deletion of the offending material and potentially a ban to the violating user account.
