Banner Advertising
We have a very limited number Banner ad spots on purpose. We do not want TownPost to be cluttered with advertising because users find it annoying and it takes away from the experience. Premium or Business Ads
When you post a classified there are 2 premium options "Premium Ad" or "Business Ad". These options allow businesses or individuals to promote their website, include link to their website, or ask people to visit their Facebook or Instagram page.
These ad types will give your ad a boost in a couple of places. For one your ad will appear as a top suggestion in nearby towns when visitors are viewing ads in the same category as your post. You ad will also be suggested to people that are viewing other items in your Town or area.
Top Ads
When you are posting an ad you can select the "Top Ad" option. Top Ads are displayed at the very top of the category your ad is in, the Town your ad is in, as well as being at the top of the sub-category your ad belongs to. Your ad will also appear at the top of the e-mail that is sent to newsletter subscribers in your Town.
Custom Ad Options
We have a number of other custom ad options we would be happy to discuss with your business. This can include targetted ads based on specific towns, certain types of ads, automatic premium ads (bulk discount), and several other ads customized for your needs.
